Portrait of Alex E. Daley

Hi there! My name is Alex, and I'm a multitalented, polymathic learning designer who works remotely from Charleston, SC, USA. I am open to contract and full-time, particularly in the following industries: automotive, fashion, and healthcare. Let's chat to see if I'd be a good fit for your company or project!

My Story

I've been telling stories since childhood: short writings about monsters eating homework, cartoons of magical horses, and videos of real-life happenings through social media. Stories are magical in their ability to entertain, teach, and remember. My passion for storytelling combined with my strong analytical, communication, curiosity, and multimedia skills has led me to pursue a successful career in learning design, whereby I can analyze learner behavior and motivation and use that information to deliver an engaging, interactive learning experience.

My Values

Data Focused

I believe that learning solutions should be based on

  1. a cognitive theory of how people learn and

  2. scientifically valid research studies.

Empathetic Solutions

I put myself in the learner's shoes so that I can empathize with their needs and understand their motivations to deliver the best learning solution possible.
