Challenge

Holy City Hot Rods was in need of a new logo and other materials to brand their communications, such as marketing materials and the internal employee portal they use to communicate company happenings and benefit information.

Additionally, they wanted to more effectively educate employees about their benefit offerings and encourage them to participate in wellness activities.

Solution

After designing a new logo and fine tuning their brand (e.g., color scheme, font, graphic styles), I applied the new look and feel across the employee portal, which included:

  • Custom graphics to enhance the page content, including a site header that displayed on every page

  • Improved page layouts that chunked content and used less words

From there, I designed their Get a Handle on Your Health campaign, which emphasized their benefit offerings via marketing materials (e.g., emails, flyers) and their employee portal.

Results

Holy City Hot Rods saw a 25% increase in benefit elections during the first Open Enrollment period following the institution of their Get a Handle on Your Health campaign. Additionally, the average number of site visitors increased by 30% within 1 month of deployment.

What I Created

The Holy City Hot Rods logo was incorporated into the employee portal, marketing materials, and their website.

Riding for Good volunteer program badge

Holy City Hot Rods sponsors a charity each month and encourages employees to help out. I designed a badge that’s awarded to employees who volunteer for a specified number of hours.
