Challenge
Be Your Own Hero designs and sells boxing-inspired workout gear to gyms. When they partnered with a Charleston-based boxing studio, they were asked to design merchandise to promote the studio's new winter boxing program.
Solution
The boxing studio's winter program centered around a superhero theme and was called the Superhero Training Academy. I combined silhouettes of boxers with traditional superhero imagery (e.g., bright colors, comic book-style sound effects, capes) to print on clothing and leveraged the "be your own hero" slogan for other merchandise.
Be Your Own Hero sold the merchandise online along with stocking it at the boxing studio.

Results
Sales from the Superhero Training Academy merchandise increased the boxing studio's revenue by roughly 10%. The program was so popular that the boxing studio offered a summer session and continue to offer this program today.
