Challenge
AbbVie's Business & Technology Solutions (BTS) Learning & Development team faced issues with visibility despite strong services and an updated strategy. Stakeholders across the organization were unaware of L&D's role as a strategic partner or offerings like BTS Accelerate LMS and AI personalization. This lack of engagement risked underutilization during important changes.
The goal was to enhance adoption by shifting mindsets and positioning L&D as a key business driver rather just a training function.
Solution
I designed a dynamic infomercial-style video and presentation inspired by pitchman Billy Mays. The video featured an AI avatar that delivered enthusiastic narration, custom Adobe After Effects animations illustrating key concepts, and curated stock media maintaining visual interest.
The presentation addressed leaders, teams, and L&D champions with clear "what's in it for me" messaging connecting learning services to real business challenges. This Road Show package equipped the Director of Learning and his team to deliver consistent, compelling sessions across corporate meetings.
